In 1997, Laura Cannon started her CPA firm with a single employee, in a room of her Austin, Texas home. Today we are a team, still proudly based in Austin, with over 25 years of experience in small business and individual tax accounting.

Our fearless leader, a Certified Public Accountant since 1991, focuses on tax planning strategies for closely held entities. A true Austinite, she received a Master in Professional Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Laura worked at KPMG Peat Marwick in Dallas and several local CPA firms before founding her own in 1997. A graduate of Texas A&M University and a Certified Public Accountant since 1995, the second of our two Lauras has been a member of our team for over a decade. Her experience as a Controller in Houston and Austin lends itself to us and our customers regularly. Laura likes to spend her spare time in her backyard tending to her garden. What started as one rose bush has blossomed into a tropical-themed patio that reminds her of her favorite vacation spot in Hawaii.
